Realizing his market share slipped considerably, the owner of this large hotel and conference center requested a study to develop a greater understanding of the property's current physical assets and liabilities as well as issues related to repositioning the hotel to recapture a larger share of the local lodging market. Knowledge of market trends, analysis of current needs and creation of an inventory of assets and liabilities provided the basis for the development of several new physical and operational concepts.
