Established in 1986, Zivic & Hurdle Architects is a seventeen person firm located in the City of Fairfax serving the non-residential architectural market in both the government and private sectors.
We are seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

Architect 4
Fully competent architect in all conventional aspects of architecture. Performs work requiring independent judgment in evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation/modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Independently solves problems encountered. Registration as a licensed architect may be required. Performs architectural assignments under general supervision. Selects and determines procedures in architectural matters. Writes reports and specifications. Reviews completed reports, plans, estimates, and calculations. Prepares and/or supervises preparation of architectural `plans and renderings, consults manufacturers, evaluates and selects materials, and inspects architectural features of structures in the field. Independently performs most assignments with instruction concerning general results expected. Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex issues and supervisory approval on proposed project plans. Supervises a few architects or technicians on assigned work.

Architect
Zivic & Hurlde Architect is looking for creative individual with BA degree in Architectural Engineering and 3 month experience to work on hospitality, health care and municipal projects. Strong team orientation and knowledge of Auto CADD necessary. 40 hrs/wk 9-5 Mon-Fri $44,325.year. Staff Architect
Zivic & Hurdle Architects is looking for creative individual with MS in Architectural Engineering or BA with 5 years of experience of technical and CADD drafting skills to work on hospitality, healthcare, & municipal projects. Location- Zivic & Hurdle Architects’ office is designed as an open studio landscape that encourages free communications amongst all staff levels. Located in the heart of “Olde Town” Fairfax City, there are numerous pedestrian oriented business establishments within a several block radius. Public transportation (Cue Bus) stops at our front door and connects with the Vienna metro station. Parking is also readily available and free.
